I'm not sure what the second piece of paper in our flyer is suppose to mean but realistically the results of the meeting only made things worse. The newspaper articles were a true blow to those trying to sell their homes and a clear signal to Briar Park and Tamarac that we are fair game because the Camden police have no jurisdiction over those parents and what are the police going to do to get the names of these kids parents? I don't believe they have to tell the police anything unless they are being arrested for something illegal and as of right now hanging out in the middle of the night in the streets is not illegal. Did this really need to be advertised to all of Delaware? This community already had a bad reputation for being a "ghetto" whether warranted or not and now the whole state of Delaware has seen it verified in the newspaper. Though I agree with a curfew (for the whole state not just neighborhoods) this should not of been allowed to be posted in the newspaper. Did someone invite them?
It was a town meeting! No one needs an invitation. If you have a problem with the newspaper article, then what are you doing posting stuff here? Call them; that would make more sense.
